| The #194 bulb and socket is a single circuit arrangement. There are only two wires going to this bulb (socket). One is (+) the other is (-). The bulb will only switch colors if/when the (+/-) polarity to the bulb is reversed. While a few vehicles automatically reverse polarity to the side marker bulb when the turn signal is activated, most do not. In most vehicles a relay and or other circuitry will be required to make this bulb change colors by swapping the +/- polarity to the bulb. |
